ABOUT LILY Shea
From live music to street art to small business content to the famous Underwear Bike Rides, Lily Shea has worked with countless artists, venues, businesses, nonprofits, and other local clients with the same goal in mind: bringing vision to life.
Her diverse body of work has been published in web and print periodicals (Shepherd Express, 88nine radio milwaukee, Edible Milwaukee, Uncut Magazine, Breaking & Entering,) and her street shots have appeared in several gallery shows. (Third Ward Fall Gallery Night, Dream Lab Gallery, Museum of Wisconsin Art - West Bend).
Beginning in 2018, Lily dove headfirst into the Milwaukee music scene. She could be found at several shows a night, always ready to capture the magic and movement of the performances. Lily’s enthusiasm and passion for her craft quickly found her in high demand - working with local artists like Kainalu, Vincent Van Great, LONG MAMA, Shle Berry, Yogie B, and an ever-expanding list of newcomers.
In addition to live performances, Lily has worked to create eye-catching web content with local businesses such as SAFINA’S, the Milwaukee Athletic Club, S.A. Braai Chutney, La Pina & Hear Here Presents. Her eye for detail and passion for imagery lends a hand in the tricky task of representing an establishment’s essence and marketing it to an audience.
Lily is proud to be a long-time collaborator with non-profits such as the ACLU of Wisconsin and Pearls For Teen Girls. She values the community boosting efforts that both of these organizations provide to the city of Milwaukee and Beyond.
In most recent years, Lily has focused on studio photography, now offering headshots and creative portraits in her studio at House of Rad, nestled in the neighborhood of Riverwest. She’s skilled at putting clients at ease, encouraging them from booking to delivery.
If you have a cause worth illuminating, an event worth capturing, or a passion worth sharing, Lily will be right there with you, camera in hand.
